Hi, we are the Wenolas, also known as Katja & Walter, your elopement photo & video team. We are married, we work together and we love it. This is possible because we deeply care for each other and because we share the same passion. Capturing the most stunning, beautiful and emotional moments in your lives. This is what we live for and what makes us happy. As a duo we create magic in extraordinary still images and outstanding moving images. We always strive for excellence and love to show all the emotions of your elopement or intimate wedding.

ABOUT KATJA
Hi, I’m Katja and Photography is at the core of who I am—I’m an elopement photographer through and through. My journey began in my teenage years when my older sister sparked my curiosity and encouraged me to dive into the world of photography. This passion led me to attend a specialized photography school in Austria, where I explored every aspect of the craft. After spending a few years working in event management, I knew I had to return to what I love most—capturing the beauty of the world through my lens.
The moment I hold a camera, I’m in my element. I find joy in documenting people, love, emotions, and both the little details and grand moments. My heart beats faster for golden sunsets, my husband, our dog, and the thrill of exploring the world in our self-built van. But above all, I’m passionate about connecting with you and telling your love story through authentic, heartfelt imagery.

ABOUT WALTER
Hey, I’m Walter—Katja’s husband and a passionate elopement videographer. My goal is to capture more than just how your elopement looks—I want to preserve how it feels. Every genuine moment, every emotion that makes your love story unique, is what drives my work. My journey in media began eight years ago, giving me the chance to learn, experiment, and grow in countless directions. But nothing inspires me more than telling stories through the lens of love and adventure.
Elopement days are filled with so much love, excitement, and anticipation—it’s easy for moments to blur in the whirlwind. Through film, you’ll be able to revisit those feelings just as they unfolded, letting you relive your story for years to come.

We’re always traveling and seeking new experiences. When we’re not on the road for our elopement passion, you’ll often find us exploring in our van, embracing every chance to discover someplace new. - We’re proud van lifers! (Yep, we converted a van from scratch with zero experience—and it’s still running, woohoo!)
- Food is life, especially breakfast! (No city trip is complete without a brunch stop.)
- In our home, Walter’s the (amazing) chef, and Katja’s the (enthusiastic) taste-tester—and the official dishwasher.
- We’re dog parents to Manka, our lovable and wild Hungarian pup, who we adopted four years ago. Her love language? Non-stop cuddles.
